This phone is great, although their are some cut backs, its good does what a phone should do, the texting is easy, has a new feature where you can drag on the screen and it goes along with what your aiming for, pretty neat, still getting the feel for now, but will update the review if i ever have problems, but for now, the 6.5 on hd is the best possible phone u can have, and you say wow, look at that screen, why get a iphone, when you can have so many more apps on a HD2, and have a cheaper bill with t-mobile, financing + no contract = best price ever :D.

Edit 3/27/10: Phone is top notch, lasts a full day+ at full charge running more then 5+ apps, quality of picture, sound, camera and video is awesome. Thought i would never get use to not having a real keyboard lol, but the hd2 flexibility with both the little on screen one and the side keyboard works great, it will take you a day or two to get use to it, haven't found any flaws yet, except i forget to close a lot of apps lol, (drains the battery faster) so much to do :D.

Abe123 was fantastic, delivered HD2 quickly, and it works great as expected. Having said that, my thoughts about Microsoft's newer Win 7 phones is not so favorable; which is why after using the HD7 for a week, I opted to buy an HTC HD2.

I have used HTC Touch Pro 2 for couple years. As a business person I keep my customer base and contacts (4,100+) on my phone synchronized with computer using ActivSync. Tried the HD7 but Microsoft has abandoned the average business user / salesperson with the new Windows 7 format. We will not upload our customer base and massive number of contacts to a remote "cloud server" (it's a convoluted and tedious project), my customer base stays on my phone or computer period. HD7 and Windows 7 phones are probably great for teenagers or self-absorbed facebook and twitterers.....but not for Microsoft's base customers looking for a productivity tool. I'm very disappointed that Microsoft has taken this direction in their latest phone OS. What's next? getting rid of Microsoft Office all together in favor of all business people uploading our contracts, proposals, and invoices to Bill Gates directly for his stamp of approval?

Even after I finally got complete customer base (4100+ businesses) uploaded to Bill G's servers and then back downloaded to my phone, HD7 didn't (doesn't) allow you to sort contact file by company name, only personal contact name. I called HTC for fix, then Microsoft tech support.....both blamed the other and said now that it's on the market, neither would fix. I decided the only way to get a windows phone upgraded with ActivSync (not Win 7) was to buy unlocked HD2......ingrates at T-Mobile wouldn't even sell an HD2 anymore......but now with an unlocked version I can leave T-mobile if they keep up with that attitude.

I am writing this review after owning this phone for over two years. For starters...WinMo 6.5 sucked. No mincing words there. It was good for it's time.
Android is a whole 'nother Universe. Google search "HD2 Roms" or visit XDA Developers and see for yourself. Hundreds of developers are still cranking out dozens of new roms for this phone DAILY! This phone handles every OS thrown at it. Android, WindowsPhone7, Ubuntu, Windows 95, Windows 98, and XP and Play Station emulator.
It overclocks well and updates easily. Folks slamming this phone really have no idea what they are talking about. Buy it while you can...I own two. (My daily driver is my first one and is running an Android rom developed by Dorimanx.) And it handles 32GB Class 10 cards as well no sweat.
Again, YMMV...but lemons are few and far between. I love this phone and am not getting rid of it.
